I have been in search of a leopard print coat since I bought a Andy Warhol biography when I was 15. Chapter three was called “The Muse” and there was a full-page black and white photograph of Edie Sedgwick looking superb in a oversized leopard print coat with her iconic pixie cut and huge lashes. I had never seen anything so glamorous, that image stuck with me.

I bought this vintage coat at Via Gypset a little while ago and it has been a fun addition to my wardrobe. I usually wear it out at night and wear it all night long, I never want to check it. But recently I have been throwing it on during the day too. Nothing wrong with adding a little glam to a Tuesday afternoon! This is an outfit of favorites, my bootie essentials from Dolce Vita, ballerina tulle and lace dress and cable knit beanie.
